Access to capital is the lifeblood of small businesses but too often, hard-working business owners and entrepreneurs can’t get the financing they need. The Hudson County Economic Development Corporation (Hudson County EDC) is committed to giving Hudson County’s small businesses a fair chance to start, grow and thrive.
That’s why we’ve partnered with UCEDC, a nonprofit small business lender and training organization and we are kicking off the partnership with the Million Dollar Challenge. This exciting initiative will provide fairly priced capital to viable start-ups and growing small businesses that would otherwise be denied conventional lending.
Working with UCEDC and having access to SBA loan products, Hudson County EDC is now able to help small businesses and entrepreneurs get the capital they need to succeed. With loans from $5,000 to $5 million, we can help everyone from a sole proprietor working from home who may need a new laptop and software to a generations-old manufacturing company ready to make the move from leasing to owning its business location.
We’ll find the right fit for you.
We have access to a variety of term loan programs. Funds can be used for a broad array of business purposes including inventory/equipment/fixtures, working capital, leasehold improvements, purchasing or constructing commercial buildings, business acquisition, etc. We will counsel you on the financing structure that best meets your needs, guide you through loan closing and then continue to be a resource after your loan closes. We are committed to being your trusted advisor and business partner for the long term.
